Trip Lottery Rules - Created using rules from similar lotteries and with advice from travel Agent Tara Drisdelle.
  1. The draws will take place on February 15th live on Hospice Miramichi’s Facebook page.
  2. All trips will be organized by Tara Drisdelle of Marlin Travel. Should Tara Drisdelle not be affiliated with Marlin Travel at the time of booking, the trip shall be booked with Marlin Travel Miramichi Office.
  3. A winner of a trip can choose to accept, in lieu of the specific trip won, an alternate trip using the full value of the prize won or a cash prize equal to 80% of the value of the trip shown on the ticket.
  4. Each ticket cost $125 (One hundred twenty-five) and is payable to Hospice Miramichi Inc (HMI).
  5. Employees, board members and volunteers of Hospice Miramichi Inc are eligible to purchase tickets.
  6. If cheques covering the total cost of the ticket is refused by the financial institution on which it is drawn, the ticket may be resold.
  7. If, in the opinion of Hospice Miramichi, 600 tickets are not sold by the draw date (Feb 15th 2020), HMI reserves the right to change the draw to a 50/50 draw.
  8. Each prize consists of a credit for a trip for the amount shown. The trip must be taken within 12 months of the draw. All trip arrangements must be completed by May 31st 2020. Dates are at the winners’ option, however if there is an increase in price after 60 days from the date of the draw, the winner must assume all additional cost. If the winner takes a trip of lesser value than the amount shown, he or she will not be entitled to be reimbursed for the difference in value.
  9. The value shown includes airfare, transfers, lodging and experiences clearly outlined in the trip description for 2 persons. If beyond the control of Hospice Miramichi, the trip won is not available, the club will offer a similar trip of at least equal value. All additional cost, including but not limited to taxes, insurance, tips, meals etc. are the responsibility of the winner.
