Tickets can be purchased in person at The Hospice Shoppe in Chatham (16 University Ave open Monday - Saturday from 10AM - 4PM) or at Vondy's Nearly New Boutique in Newcastle (133 Newcastle Blvd open Monday - Saturday from 10AM - 5PM). 

Tickets can also be purchased online by etransferring [email protected]. If purchasing tickets via etransfer, you MUST include the full name and either a phone number or email address to go on the ticket. If you do not include this information and we are unable to contact you to get this information, we will be unable to fill out a ticket and your etransfer will instead be considered a donation.

Vondy House Hospice Miramichi Car Lottery Sponsored by Miramichi Kia (Trevors Kia)
​1.      The Organizer and Sponsor
  • The Organizer: Vondy House Hospice Miramichi (hereafter referred to as "the Organizer").
  • The Sponsor: Miramichi Kia / Trevors Kia (hereafter referred to as "the Sponsor").
2.      Eligibility
  • Tickets must be purchased and sold within the province of New Brunswick.
3.      Ticket Sales and Pricing
  • Price: Tickets are $20.00 CAD each.
  • Limit: A maximum of 3,000 tickets will be printed and made available for sale.
  • Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Ticket sales will close on September 20, 2026 at 11:59pm, or once all 3,000 tickets are sold, whichever occurs first.
4.      The Grand Prize
  • The Grand Prize is 2026 Kia K4, provided by the Sponsor, Miramichi Kia.
    • The vehicle is awarded.
    • The prize must be accepted as awarded. There is no cash alternative or substitution for the vehicle prize, except under the contingency clause outlined in Section 5.
5.      Contingency Clause (The 50/50 Draw)
  • Threshold: The Grand Prize (the car) is contingent upon the sale of all 3,000 tickets by the final ticket sales deadline.
  • The 50/50 Pivot: If fewer than 3,000 tickets are sold by September 20, 2026 at 11:59pm, the Grand Prize (the car) will be withdrawn.
  • In this event, the lottery will convert to a 50/50 cash draw.
  • The 50/50 Prize Calculation: The single winner drawn will receive 50% of the gross proceeds from the total tickets sold (e.g., if 2,000 tickets are sold at $20 each, the total jackpot is $40,000, and the winner will receive a cash prize of $20,000). The remaining 50% of the proceeds will go directly to Vondy House Hospice Miramichi.
  • Miramichi Kia reserves the right to substitute the vehicle based on availability
6.      The Draw and Winner Notification
  • Date of Draw: September 21, 2026 at Trevors Kia.
  • Location of Draw: 1119 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB
  • The winning ticket will be drawn at random from all eligible tickets sold.
  • The winner does not need to be present at the draw to win.
  • The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase.
7.      Claiming Prizes
  • Once the winner has been notified, they will have 14 days to claim their prize
  • If the vehicle is not claimed and no arrangements have been made by the winner to claim the prize after 14 days, the Organizer will reapply for a new lottery license and award the vehicle as the grand prize in a new lottery.
  • If the contingency clause is triggered and the grand prize is monetary, the winner will be presented with a cheque for the full prize amount. If the cheque is not claimed within 30 days, or not deposited within 6 months, the cheque will be voided and the prize will be treated as a donation to the Organizer.
8.      Publicity and Privacy
  • By purchasing a ticket, the winner consents to the use of their name, town/city of residence, and likeness (photograph) in any promotional or publicity material carried
